Remember Last Time Ellie Asked For Tove's Help?

Carly Rae Jepsen may very well be the queen of everything, but she can never be the queen of movie soundtrack anthems. That title goes to the Starry Eyed songbird Ellie Goulding.

Hot off the heels of a very successful 2015, Ellie has come back to pop despite her previous statement of "taking a break from music." If only Marina would do the same, but that's a topic for a different time.

"Still Falling For You" is Ellie's offering and the lead single from the Bridget Jones's Baby soundtrack. As with any Goulding song, it's high class pop that starts off as an airy love song that glides across the synths that established her so many years ago. But when you get closer to the chorus, you can't help but think, "This is great Ellie but why do you sound like the Queen of The Clouds, Lady of the Wood, and the charming as fuck Cool Girl Tove Lo?"

That's because Tove wrote the song!!!!!

We find ourselves in the same situation as "Love Me Like You Do" with Tove on chief writing duties along with hit writers Ilya and Shellback. That chorus is basically Ellie Goulding doing "Timebomb". While it is not as explosive as that masterpiece, it does have the same dizzying effect by the final moments. Whether it's a Delirium re-release or an all new collection of potential singles, Ellie Goulding remains a top notch act, one we are lucky to have.

Best Bits: "AAAAAAAALL I BREATHE / AAAAAAALL I NEED" You can't go wrong with a Tove chorus!
